Mohamed  Elmasry is a well respected professor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo. He has written commentary for the Globe and Mail and published more than 500 research papers and 16 books in the field of electrical engineering. What’s The Beef With Calf Roping?

So recently feathers have been ruffled people have been causing a ruckus around an ad attempted to be published in the two major Calgary papers. The ad, produced by the Vancouver Humane Society (VHS), depicts a competing cowboy calf-roping a calf as a bully/baby relationship.

Obama and the Bottomless Bailout…

If ‘bailout’ was the word of 2008 then word of 2009 is shaping up to be ‘mistake’. Or perhaps ‘regret’ depending on your political affiliation. Wednesday’s horrific shooting at the the US Holocaust Memorial Museum casts some light on a stark reality of our world: there are still people out there who are bat-shit crazy.
